CELTIC pair Jonathan Afolabi and Luca Connell will both start this afternoon for Ireland U21s against Australia.
The duo, who have yet to make a single first team Celtic appearance have been called up to their country and are hoping to make strides towards their first full caps.
Luca went on a short term loan at the back end of last season to Queens Park and impressed – so much so it earned him the international call up.
Jonathan has been at Dundee all season and helped the team to promotion to the Premiership. The attacker didn’t get much game time towards the end of the season but he’s still highly rated by the Irish setup.

There’s high hopes for both men, but specifically Luca Connell who looks like ab rate of fresh air with tons of energy in the midfield area.
It’s up to both to show the new manager [whoever that might be] they’re up for the task of being part of this very difficult rebuild.
