CELTIC fans may not know him that well but Regan Hendry’s six-year stint at the Parkhead club is over after he was told his contract would not be renewed by coaches.
Hendry, 21, has been in the system since he was 15 and his only real time away from the club has come on loan to Raith Rovers who are now said to be seriously looking at bringing the midfielder in according to SunSport.
The player failed to make the breakthrough into the first team and Celtic have decided it’s time to let the player go elsewhere in search of first team football.
It will be a scary time for Hendry but he will have the belief in himself he can go elsewhere and be a success and judging by his twitter post he certainly has the right attitude.
Well, it’s that time. Had a great 6 years at this club with a lot of memories. Met some great people along the way and some terrible. Thanks to everyone at the club??The best is yet to come. pic.twitter.com/HAl9hmGF9g
