Since Ange Postecoglou came into the club, the manager has had a big say in who comes in. In the very early days he was giving a thumbs up or thumbs down to targets Celtic already had on their list.

He then went about choosing a lot of his own players using some of his contacts in the game. The Japanese bhoys are the obvious example of that but even guys like Matt O’Riley being here has a lot to do with Ange coming into the club.

The manager has an eye for a player and has become Celtic‘s unofficial head scout in many ways.

That’s why it’s exciting to hear rumours of a left-back coming in this summer who is described as the most exciting left-back playing in Sweden at the moment.

According to SunSport, the bhoys are seriously looking to bring in Mohanad Jeahze for around £2m in the summer to bolster their left back options.

The Iraq international currently plays for Hammarby in Sweden and has caught the eye of clubs across Europe.

Greg Taylor is our number one left-back at the moments the drop off from there is Liam Scales. Having someone in there who can rival Greg and even be able to timeshare the role would be ideal.

Celtic lost the League Cup semi-final when two of their full backs had to go off injured leaving us with Stephen Welsh at right-back and Anthony Ralston playing left-back. It proved to be our undoing.

Could the 25-year-old be part of Ange Ball next season. As we know Celtic work from a list of targets so they never put their eggs in one basket.
