REPORTS down south suggest that Brendan Rodgers is getting prepared to dip his toe in the transfer market early in January to bolster his squad going forward.
It’s widely accepted that the Irishman wants a new centre-mid having failed to finalise a deal in the summer for the position and it now looks like he’s stepping up efforts by targeting Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch.
The box to box midfielder has only featured three times for Palace this season under boss Pardew and is looking for a way out of the club in order to get first team football.
The Englishman joined Palace last January window for just under £5million, but it’s thought that it would only take half that fee for Celtic to entice Palace.
Brendan Rodgers is not messing around and is looking to move on to the next phase of recruitment which will see quality come in and quantity going out.
