Celtic reportedly have competition on their hands in the pursuit of supposed winger target Kristijan Lovric who is also being tracked by Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona.

As reported by the Daily Record, according to reports coming out of Croatia, Lovric is a wanted man across Europe, and the Italian side could look to step up and make a move for the left-winger.

Last week, fans were excited to see the 25-year old follow the club on social media, which says a lot in certain transfer dealings in this day and age.

Reports have also suggested that the Hoops were considering making a move for the winger and even made contact with the Croatian side, who Lovric has emerged as a star player for, scoring 34 goals in the last two seasons.

It would take around €5 million to secure the 25-year old.

This summer, the wide areas were seen as needing a lot of work due to the club’s lack of winger options last season. Injury problems left loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi as the Hoops only real option for the majority of the campaign.

So far, Ange Postecoglou has signed two players who can play on either wing with Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi. Still, he will likely be looking for more of a natural option on that left-hand side to make up his attacking personnel.
