Chris Graham will referee Celtic vs Falkirk this Saturday at Celtic Park, the SFA have confirmed.
It will be Graham’s first game of the season officiating the Hoops.
The last time he was involved in a Celtic game was actually against Falkirk at Celtic Park back in April, when he was on VAR duty.
Celtic ran out 2-0 winners that day in a game that came during the memorable run towards the league and cup double last season.
Graham will now be the man in the middle this weekend as Martin O’Neill’s side return to Premiership action.
David Dunne and Dougie Potter will be the assistant referees, with Alastair Grieve named as the fourth official.
Greg Aitken will be on VAR duty, while Sean Carr has been appointed assistant VAR.
Celtic will go into the game looking to continue their brilliant start to the season, with home form once again likely to be important over the coming months.
Alongside an early exit from the Premier Sports Cup in July, pressure is slowly beginning to build on manager John McGlynn.
The Bairns will look to cause a major shock, but in some ways that makes them even more dangerous. Celtic know Falkirk have a point to prove, and it could be a busy afternoon for Graham, with the Hoops looking to boss possession and dominate the game.
