The Celtic Fans Collective has claimed the club is refusing to meet to discuss its new supporter engagement initiative.
The club announced a change in their supporter engagement structure, including the creation of a new Head of Supporter Engagement role, a revamped Fans’ Forum and the launch of a new engagement model.
The Collective argued that the replacement does not go far enough and falls well short of their long-standing call for a democratic Fan Advisory Board.
There is a section on the club website – that you can access HERE – where you can share your views on the future of supporter engagement at the club. They are seeking feedback from all supporters on the proposed structure and welcome opinions.
But the Collective have now claimed that club representatives are refusing to meet with them regarding the new structure. They said (@CFC_Collective on X):
“Celtic FC is refusing to meet supporters to discuss their Celtic Connect proposal. Therefore, we encourage as many fans as possible to offer their thoughts by using the link below. Deadline for feedback is 5pm tomorrow. It is important they get this.”

The timing is important, as it is nearly four weeks since the Collective put out their initial call to convene with Brian Wilson and other members of the board to discuss plans and the structure of their new scheme.
With the deadline for supporter submissions at 5 pm on Friday, August 27, there is still time to have your input on the club’s new strategy.
