It’s fair to say there’s been a mixed response to the new Celtic third kit.

Adidas have gone for a very unconventional look for the 21/22 season.

Green and pink stripes with a centred Adidas and Celtic logo make this memorable jersey whether you love it or you hate it.

Some have called in an instant classic while others have branded it an abomination.

Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? Not really. Celtic will rarely use this kit, and there’s 100% a scenario where they don’t even wear it at all in a competitive fixture.

I have to say, personally, I’m not a fan of this particular jersey but I’ve seen worse efforts from New Balance when they were Celtic’s shirt manufacturers.

One Celtic fan on social media absolutely nailed it on how they could have made this jersey more appealing to the masses.

A non-sponsor version with the shirt and Celtic logo in their normal positions. Take a look below.

This effort looks so much better than the Celtic/Adidas final product.

If you missed it, we reported earlier on Monday, Celtic would NOT be bringing out a non-sponsor version of the shirt at all for the third kit.

I’m sure it will still sell a decent amount.
