Brendan Rodgers has hit the jackpot so far with his January loan signings. Weah and Burke don’t need any bigging up at this stage. Last minute signing Jeremy Toljan got thrown into the action at St. Johnstone the weekend after Lustig went off injured.
The loanee put in a solid 45 minutes but tonight he got his full debut at Paradise. The Dortmund man has not disappointed. He has bombed up and down the wing in the first half and got himself a nice assist to boot. Just before the 25th minute, he set up Ryan Christie who added another top drawer finish to his portfolio. He has also been mopping up things at the back.
His contribution hasn’t gone unnoticed with these Celtic fans either, with one requesting a 5-year deal now.
Class from Weah and Toljan. Cracking finish from young Christie 1-0 @CelticFC #CELHIB

Celtic have completely dominated the play and should be going down the tunnel with more than one goal to show for their efforts. McGregor, Sinclair and Weah have all missed good chances that hopefully they won’t regret.
Five year deal ? Aye right you are
