Celtic fans will today get a chance to see their new signing in action when Sheffield Wednesday take on Norwich in the early Sunday Championship kick off.
Shaw’s deal to Celtic was confirmed this week by an angry Sheffield Wednesday who didn’t want the deal to become common knowledge.
However, Liam put out a statement himself endearing himself to the Sheffield Wednesday fans as well as letting everyone know why he had signed for Celtic.
Wednesday boss Darren Moore claimed he has no qualms about playing Liam from now until the end of the season, so we’re expecting him in today’s match squad.
The game between Wednesday and Norwich will be shown live on Sky Sports for anyone who’s interested in watching the young lad.
Shaw will join up with his new Celtic teammates in the summer but he’ll be determined to finish strong with Wednesday who are in a perilous position in the league while they come up against the runaway Championship leaders.
