NEIL LENNON should be playing a skeleton squad on Sunday during trophy day and we have the funny feeling Hearts might do the same.

With the Cup final less than two weeks away, there’s no chance of unnecessary risks when it comes to the showpiece event on May 25th.

I’m a huge proponent of throwing out some guys who have rarely seen action this season to give them a run out and save the first team stars for the Scottish Cup. Bring some youngsters in and mix them with some experience.

We all know what we want to see on Sunday, apart from Scott Brown lifting the trophy I think the Celtic fans deserve to see one man in-particular – Marvin Compper!

Having only seen the player up close once in a Scottish Cup tie last season, we have seen nothing from the German unless you frequent Celtic reserve games. The defender has been earning a big wage for doing next to nothing and hasn’t played at all. It’s time to throw him in at Celtic Park and see what he can do! Agreed?

  1. YEA Neil, why don’t you fill the Sunday squad with the players wifes brothers. No but seriously why not their wifes fathers.

Whatever happened to the ‘No excuses’ mantra.
