The Hoops’ senior team are in Champions League action against Borussia Dortmund tonight, meaning the clubs’ under-19 sides will face off in the UEFA Youth League earlier in the day.

Stephen McManus’ men began their European campaign perfectly a fortnight ago, putting Slovan Bratislava to the sword in a dominant 4-0 win at Lesser Hampden.

After a 2-2 draw with Hearts over the weekend, the youngsters are now in Germany, ahead of a tough test with Dortmund.

The match kicks off at 3pm today at the German giants’ training ground.

Supporters in Germany can attend the game, but those back home and elsewhere cannot watch the action live. Indeed, Celtic, UEFA, or TNT aren’t streaming the hotly anticipated clash.

Highlights will likely be available on the Hoops’ YouTube channel later today or perhaps tomorrow, but it is disappointing not to be able to see the full 90 as proceedings unfold.

Like the senior team, Celtic’s B side have started the campaign well. They currently sit second in the Lowland League having not lost a game to date.

They began their Youth League campaign in prosperous fashion two weeks ago, and McManus will hope for a similar outcome in Germany later today.
