We reported yesterday Jason Denayer has been told he’s not in Pep Guardiola’s plans.
The Belgian has two-years left on his current deal at the Etihad but the club are willing to sell the player this summer.
We floated the idea past Celtic fans on our social media page and thought we would get about a 50/50 response – but it turned out there was an overwhelming majority.

Out of a sample size of just over 3000 fans a whopping 73% would be in favour of a Jason Denayer return.
Celtic need a defender for the coming season and fans are desperate to see a quality player come in.
With Denayer you still have a young star (23) who knows the club well and the pressures playing for Celtic.
It would be an option worth exploring.
Lets be thankful players arent signed on a vote from the fans then.
