The goalie was very impressive while he was with Dundee United, putting in many impressive displays against Celtic.

On the second last day of the season, Celtic won the league at Tannadice. A draw was enough for the Hoops to confirm they would reclaim their champions status. It was a nervy game, ending 1-1.

When the referee sounded his whistle for full-time, the scenes in Dundee were unbelievable. The fans were jubilant as the players partied in front of them.

Speaking to CeltsAreHere at the Fan Media press conference on Wednesday, Siegrist told the site;

“The travelling support that day was crazy, like it always is.

“Obviously the impression of Parkhead stuck with me as well.

“The fan base is something I look forward to.”
