The only Celtic fans inside the UK and Ireland able to watch the Ross County game legitimately on Saturday were the supporters inside the stadium.

Sky Sports opted not to air the game, and the archaic 3pm TV kick off agreement the SPFL sign up to every season proves it’s not fit for purpose.

Celtic fans had to find different ways to watch the game or keep in touch with their team on the day. It’s frustrating that despite the amount of money supporters pay to watch Celtic, they still find days like Saturday.

Thankfully, Celtic will be live on Sky Sports next Sunday at midday when the bhoys take on Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Sky Sports has confirmed the game will be live and there’ll be no need for fans to seek alternate methods.

Celtic have started the SPFL season with two wins out of two. The bhoys have scored five goals and conceded one. The most satisfying thing for the Celtic manager will be the five goals were all scored by five different players.

Hopefully more of the bhoys get on the scoresheet next Sunday.
