An image appeared yesterday on Twitter of the Celtic boss and Celtic chief executive sharing some words on a flight back from Heathrow Airport. (allegedly)

We don’t want to speculate too much on one image but that’s not stopping Celtic fans. With most assuming a trip to London means the signing of Charly Musonda or maybe Steven Caulker. Celtic have been linked with both players. Musonda is rumored to be an 18-month loan deal.

The fact that Brendan Rodgers was absent yesterday and left media duties to his Assistant Chris Davis makes the photo a little bit more compelling. It would have needed to be something important for Rodgers to miss the arrival of Marvin Compper to Glasgow yesterday.

Anyway, we will leave the speculation to the fans, it’s much more interesting:

  1. Penny pinching already one million for a 32 year old and looking for crappy on loan deals when will the board actually spend some real money instead of keeping their pockets bulging?

  2. This is the way that the Tories operate. But is Rodgers in on it? Is he promised a huge bonus if he spends little but wins at least two trophies, including the league and qualify fr the CL two years out of three? They have abandoned all pretense that we should expect to compete in Europe, everything is a bonus. The humiliations? They care nothing. That is why they have never challenged the fraud at Ibrox. They want Rangers in the top division. Believe me if new Rangers go bust Celtic will do everything they can to help them. It is all about earning money. But I can’t work out what the money is for. It sure as hell is not the team.

  3. Wanting £35 for europa game we should be out spending at least £8m on our defence and then they should be on the phone to hampden to find out what’s taken so long with the res12 HH
