Celtic fans are facing travel challenges on Flag Day due to the rescheduling of the match to Sunday at 4:30 PM, a decision made by Sky Sports.

Traditionally, the champions kick off the new season with a lunchtime game on Saturday. This shift to a Sunday game disrupts this tradition and poses significant travel issues for fans.
Celtic has informed their supporters that Sunday rail services by Scotrail are limited, which could significantly affect fan travel plans. The club advised fans to check their travel arrangements in advance to avoid potential disruptions. Moreover, the early closure of the subway service at 6 PM will further complicate post-match travel, potentially stranding fans who rely on this mode of transportation.
For info, we have been informed by Scotrail that limited services are still operating on Sundays and will impact on fan travel this weekend, please check in advance to see if your regular service is operating this Sunday https://t.co/ivy7qeNt2i

Celtic won’t play on a Saturday until mid-September, facing a run of Sunday games until then. It will be matchday five before Celtic fans will sit in their seat for a Saturday 3 pm kick-off.
