Two cheers rang out from the home section, premature celebrations after Jack Butland had saved Reo Hatate’s penalty. The initial stop was sharp. The rebound save looked even better.

But fate had other ideas.

Butland’s second parry spilled straight back into Hatate’s path. The Celtic midfielder reacted quickest, smashing the ball into the net before anyone in blue could reset. In an instant, those brief cheers turned to silence.

The away end erupted.

Hatate, ice-cold in the chaos, grabbed the ball and sprinted back towards the centre circle showing no elaborate celebration, just urgency. Celtic weren’t finished.

As all of this unfolded, one Rangers supporter was filming from the home section. The clip has since made its way online, capturing the emotional swing in real time.

From the home perspective, you see shoulders slump and hands on heads. From the away corner, limbs everywhere. It really is a brilliant watch.

Celtic were miles off it in the first half, really, it could well have been more than 2-0 at the break. But the Hoops came out of the tunnel flying for the second 45, and Rangers simply couldn’t get anywhere near them.
