A new photograph linked to Callum McGregor’s recent agency switch has added another interesting detail to the story.
Brendan Rodgers’ son Anton was pictured alongside the Celtic captain and Unique Sports Group representative James Hussey.
The visible part of the post read: “I’m delighted that Callum McGregor has chosen to join Unique Sports Group and become my third client on this football journey. Callum has consistently…”
Hussey works as the agency’s Head of Operations for the Middle East and North Africa and was pictured with McGregor in the image attached to the post.
Anton Rodgers was also in the photo.
That is worth noting because Anton works with Unique Sports Group in a coaching and representation role and has already been involved in negotiations connected to his father.
He worked alongside Unique agent Will Salthouse during the talks that took Brendan Rodgers to Al-Qadsiah in December 2025.

Rodgers signed a deal with the Saudi Pro League club until June 2028 and also joined Unique Sports Group, with Salthouse pictured beside him when the move was announced.
None of that means Anton is now representing McGregor or that the photograph has anything to do with a possible transfer.
McGregor has joined the same agency as his former Celtic manager, although they appear to have different people looking after them.
Hussey appears to be working directly with McGregor, while Salthouse has been involved with Rodgers.
That will catch the eye because McGregor has been linked with a possible move to Saudi Arabia since Rodgers became Al-Qadsiah manager.
It is important not to read too much into the photograph.
Players change agencies for many different reasons, and McGregor joining Unique Sports Group does not mean he is planning to leave Celtic.
The company represents players, coaches and managers across several countries, while McGregor remains under contract at Celtic until the summer of 2028.
The photograph is still worth noting because of Anton’s role with the agency and his involvement in his father’s move to Saudi Arabia.
It shows McGregor, his apparent new representative and someone close to Rodgers together shortly after the Celtic captain changed agency.
That does not prove a move is being planned, but it adds another detail to a story that will continue to attract attention.
