The Celtic Fans Collective have released another statement criticising the club’s communication with supporters, this time over the handling of planned relocations within the rail seating section at Celtic Park.
Supporters affected by the move were left frustrated by the lack of detail included in the email communication. Questions over where fans would be moved to, and whether groups attending together would stay together, were left unanswered initially.
The situation has quickly become another flashpoint between sections of the support and the Celtic board.
But while many fans support efforts to improve the matchday atmosphere, frustration has grown around how decisions are communicated and who gets consulted beforehand.
The Celtic Fans Collective addressed that directly in their latest statement.
They also referenced recent comments from chairman Brian Wilson about unity and supporter engagement, arguing that the reality for supporters currently feels very different.
The group laid out their position in a lengthy statement posted on X.

A Celtic Fans Collective statement read: “Last week, Celtic Football Club took a decision which will significantly impact supporters, in this case the relocation of fans within the Rail Seating section, without prior consultation or clear communication.
Around 170 season ticket holders received an unsigned email on Friday afternoon informing them that, while they would be able to renew their season tickets, they would not be able to remain in their current seats. The communication provided little clarity around relocation arrangements, including whether supporters attending together would remain together.
Throughout the season, the Club has repeatedly demonstrated that its communications are lacking and its supporter engagement model is fundamentally broken.
While we understand further clarification from the Club will follow soon, that does not excuse the manner in which this was communicated in the first place. Any attempt to improve the atmosphere or matchday experience should be welcomed, but it must also be carried out with respect for all supporters and proper engagement with those affected.
Just days after further public comments from chairman Brian Wilson regarding communication, engagement and togetherness between the Club and supporters, this situation once again highlights the disconnect between those statements and the reality experienced by supporters.
The Club must now commit, as a matter of urgency, to a transparent and democratic supporter engagement model capable of properly representing supporter concerns, resolving fan issues and holding the Board accountable.”
The timing of the dispute is awkward for the club.
Celtic are still in the middle of a title race and heading toward another emotionally charged derby at Celtic Park this weekend. Atmosphere inside the stadium will again be under the spotlight.
That is partly why these discussions matter so much to supporters.
The rail seating area has become one of the loudest sections of the ground over recent years and many fans see it as central to improving the energy around home matches.
But this latest row also shows the wider frustration that still exists off the pitch. Communication between supporters and the club remains a sore point, and the tension around that does not appear to be easing anytime soon.
