The SFA have confirmed the referee and VAR for Celtic’s crucial Premiership trip to Dundee this weekend.
Steven McLean will take charge at Dens Park on Sunday as Martin O’Neill’s side look to secure their first win in the city this season.
He’ll be assisted by Calum Spence and Douglas Ross on the lines, while Matthew MacDermid will oversee VAR duties at Clydesdale House, supported by Chris Graham, the SFA have confirmed.
It’s a huge game for Celtic.
They’ve already tasted defeat three times in Dundee this season, losing 2-0 at Dens Park, while Dundee United have also beaten them twice, including last weekend’s setback under O’Neill.
The Hoops haven’t picked up a single point on their travels to Tayside.
Form isn’t on their side. And neither is the title race.
With Celtic now sitting third, the league is no longer in their hands. They must go perfect in their remaining seven league fixtures and hope results elsewhere fall in their favour.
Standing in their way is a Dundee side revitalised under Steven Pressley, who have turned a corner in recent weeks and will be confident of causing more problems.
Kick-off is set for 4.30pm on Sunday, later than usual, with Sky Sports showing Hearts’ trip to Livingston beforehand.
There’s no margin for error for Celtic on Sunday.
