Luis Palma’s future could be settled within days, with a fresh report from Honduras claiming Lech Poznań have until Monday, June 8, to trigger their option to buy the Celtic winger.
Lech have been keen to keep the 26-year-old, but the issue has been the fee.

Celtic have been holding firm on the reported €4 million option, while Lech have been trying to bring the cost down. That has left the deal in limbo, despite Palma playing a key role in their title-winning campaign.
Honduran outlet Diez now report that Lech have five days to make their move.
The report claims the Polish side must activate the €4 million clause by Monday, June 8, if they want to guarantee Palma’s permanent signing.
If they choose not to do that, they could still try to return later with a lower offer. The risk is clear. Once the clause expires, other clubs may have a clearer run at the player.
That is where Celtic appear comfortable.
The Scottish champions paid around £3.5 million to sign Palma from Aris in 2023 and are believed to be confident of recovering that investment if he leaves this summer.
For Lech, this is a major call.
Diez report that paying €4 million for Palma would break the club’s transfer record. That explains why talks have dragged on, even with the winger producing strong numbers in Poland.

Palma made 45 appearances for Lech, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists as they won the Ekstraklasa title.
Those numbers are exactly why Celtic are unlikely to panic.
Lech want him. Palma proved himself again. And with the deadline now closing in, the Polish champions must decide whether they are ready to pay the price already agreed.
