Ben McPherson has capped off an impressive loan spell by scooping two honours at Partick Thistle’s Player of the Year awards.
The young right-back picked up both the Young Player of the Year prize and the Ultras Thistle Player of the Year.

McPherson joined the Jags last summer alongside fellow Celtic loanee Josh Clarke, and quickly made himself a key figure as Thistle pushed for promotion.
His form hasn’t gone unnoticed.
With his Celtic contract set to expire at the end of the season, interest had been building from across the Championship and even beyond.
But Thistle acted early.
The club confirmed months ago that both McPherson and Clarke have agreed permanent moves to Maryhill, with the deals set to go through in the summer.
For McPherson, it’s a deserved reward.
Consistent performances and recognition from supporters are all signs of a player stepping up at the right time.
Thistle are right in the promotion push. The league title does look out of reach for them, but they’ll be eying the playoffs.
Hopes weren’t high for the Jags at the start of the season, but Mark Wilson has done a brilliant job with the side and will be preparing his side for the playoffs.
