Lech Poznań have officially triggered their option to buy Luis Palma from Celtic in a deal worth €4million – £3.5m.

The move represents a club-record signing for the Polish champions, who moved to secure the winger permanently amid growing interest from elsewhere in Europe.

Palma will now sign a three-year contract with Lech next month after the Ekstraklasa side decided to activate the clause before Monday’s deadline expired.
There had been uncertainty surrounding whether Poznan would complete the transfer after initially attempting to renegotiate the fee earlier this summer.
But with interest emerging from Spain, particularly from Sevilla, the Polish champions ultimately chose to move decisively.
Sevilla were reportedly showing serious interest in Palma following his loan spell.
The Honduras international enjoyed a strong campaign in Poland, contributing heavily both domestically and in Europe.
Across league and Conference League football, Palma registered a combined 11 goals and 10 assists while helping Lech secure the Polish title.
For Celtic, the move brings a permanent conclusion to a signing that ultimately never fully settled in Glasgow despite flashes of quality.
Palma arrived with excitement and initially showed promise under Brendan Rodgers, but consistency and competition for places eventually saw him drift out of the picture before the loan move to Poland revived his career.
Now Lech Poznan have ensured he will remain there permanently – and moved fast enough to fend off interest in the process.

Seems like a good deal all round amidst the nonsense rumours it’s a Jack Hendry situation with the player happy to leave Celtic and allow the loan club a decent commission on a further move.
