Mark Fotheringham must be one of the most loved coaches in Celtic’s history.

He’s an all-around great guy, who at the end of the day is one of us working the dream job.

And at Ibrox, he had his name chanted out by the away section as he was setting up Celtic’s pre-match warm-up.

Fozzy is highly rated in the football circles and has led teams prior to his coaching gig at Celtic, so it’s a massive bonus having him in with Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney.

With the Celtic fans packed in Ibrox from 10.30 for the noon kick off, fans chanted “ole, ole ole” adding in Fozzy’s name. It was long overdue!

Fozzy wouldn’t be pleased with the first half showing from Celtic, it lacked intensity and clarity.

There must’ve been some strong words said at half-time, because Celtic came out and blew Rangers away in the second 45, and should have probably gone on to win the game with the chances that they created.

In the end, the teams had to share a point. They’ll meet again at Ibrox next Sunday, this time in the Scottish Cup.

It’ll be a packed away crowd, with 6,000 more fans there due to Scottish Cup rules.

If Celtic perform how they did in the second half, they should be booking themselves into the next round.
