Chris Sutton admits he can hardly believe Celtic are still in contention for the league title, despite repeatedly insisting throughout the season they would fall short.

And yet, with just nine points left to play for, the Hoops remain firmly in the hunt.
The title race now heads into a massive weekend, with Celtic preparing for a must-win derby against Rangers.
Before that, all eyes will be on Heart of Midlothian’s trip to face Motherwell, where any dropped points could completely reopen the door for Martin O’Neill’s side.
That Celtic are even in this position is remarkable given how inconsistent they’ve been.
The Hoops have dropped points throughout the campaign, and no side has ever won the Scottish Premiership title having lost eight matches in a single season.
But Celtic still could.
That has clearly surprised Sutton.
“From Celtic’s point of view, it’s slightly ridiculous they are still in with a chance — yet they are in with a chance,” he said to the Daily Record.
“There’s no wriggle room left, though.
“We know this Celtic side is a bit of a rabble and Martin O’Neill is having to mend and make do.”
It’s harsh, but it reflects the strange nature of this season.
Celtic have rarely looked convincing for sustained periods.
Yet somehow, heading into the final stretch, the title remains within touching distance.
Now comes the hard part and actually taking it.
All eyes will be on Sky Sports this weekend, starting from tonight when their cameras show Motherwell vs Hearts and then tomorrow, then travel to Celtic Park to show the derby.
