Celtic’s social media admin absolutely buried Ewen Cameron after the Hoops completed one of the great title comebacks at Celtic Park on Saturday.
As supporters celebrated title number 56 following the dramatic 3-1 win over Hearts, the club account on X decided it was the perfect moment to remind everybody exactly what had been said about Martin O’Neill’s side during the run-in.

And they did not hold back.
The video posted by the club opened with Cameron confidently declaring: “Celtic are that bad, they will not win the league. They’re not winning the league, they’re awful.”
Seconds later the clip smashed into scenes of pure chaos inside Celtic Park as supporters celebrated while “Hey You There With The Sad Face, Come Up To My Place and Live It Up” blasted over the top.
It was savage. Completely deserved too.
Cameron spent weeks dismissing Celtic while Hearts sat top of the table and the pressure around the club intensified after the defeat at Tannadice. Plenty outside Celtic had written the team off at that stage.
Martin O’Neill never did.
Neither did the dressing room.
The comeback against Motherwell in midweek kept Celtic alive before Saturday produced another ridiculous afternoon at Paradise. Hearts only needed a draw to become champions and looked ready to take the title after Lawrence Shankland’s first-half goal silenced the stadium.
What followed summed this Celtic team up completely.
Arne Engels dragged them level from the penalty spot before Daizen Maeda sent Celtic Park into meltdown with the late winner. Callum Osmand then raced through in stoppage time to finish Hearts off completely while supporters spilled onto the pitch.
By then Cameron’s comments looked disastrous.
The broadcaster had even claimed earlier in the title race that this would be “the worst Celtic team in the history of Celtic to win a league.” Instead, they produced one of the wildest title wins the club has seen in years.

Celtic’s admin clearly enjoyed every second of reminding everybody about it.
The post exploded online almost immediately as supporters piled into the replies celebrating another title and another prediction collapsing around Celtic. After everything this team has dealt with this season, the club account twisting the knife felt absolutely perfect.
