The official Europa League account has recognised Celtic’s brilliant turnaround in Rotterdam, naming the Hoops’ 3–1 win over Feyenoord as Performance of the Week.
The Hoops were great, and played like the European teams do when they come to Celtic Park.
There was no fear, and the Hoops were comfortable and silky on the ball, and put on a great press, which led to Hatate’s goal.

A fitting tribute on a historic night and the perfect honour for Martin O’Neill in what he has confirmed will be his final European game as Celtic manager.
Celtic hadn’t won away in Europe since 2021 and hadn’t tasted victory on Dutch soil since O’Neill’s first spell in 2001.
To deliver a result of this magnitude, coming from behind, scoring three, and controlling long spells of the match, made it a win worthy of continental recognition.
It was the largest European screline win for Celtic since Anfield in 2003, which was also under O’Neill.
O’Neill returned to Celtic in an emergency and has steadied the ship during one of the most turbulent periods the club has faced in years. The accolade is a deserved and poetic final European flourish.
After Hibs on Sunday, it’s widely expected that he will sail off into the sunset, and Wilfried Nancy will be appointed Hoops manager.
The Frenchman has already begun preparations for January transfers.
He’s been in contact with Celtic’s scouts and has been working on setting out a plan.
There will need to be a good few quality players brought in to help the current squad.
