Callum Osmand’s first season at Celtic was interrupted by injury, but the young striker has already started attracting attention from elsewhere.
According to ExWHUEmployee, who reports on The West Ham Way Patreon, West Ham are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old ahead of the summer window.
Any link is likely to catch the eye given West Ham’s current situation. The London club suffered relegation from the Premier League at the end of the season and are preparing for life in the Championship.
As they look to rebuild, younger players with room to develop could become a bigger part of their recruitment strategy.
Osmand arrived at Celtic with a strong reputation after impressing in Fulham’s academy system. His first campaign in Glasgow did not go entirely to plan after a hamstring injury ruled him out for several months just as he was beginning to break into the first-team picture.
Before that setback, he had already shown glimpses of what he could offer. He scored after coming off the bench in Celtic’s League Cup semi-final win over Rangers and later returned towards the end of the season to make another impact.
On the final day of the Premiership campaign, Osmand came off the bench against Hearts and produced a goal and an assist in just 17 minutes.
That return suggests there is plenty more to come if he can stay fit and build on his encouraging start at Celtic.
At this stage there is no indication of a formal approach from West Ham, and Celtic are unlikely to have any interest in losing a young striker they only signed a year ago.
Still, the reported interest is another sign that Osmand’s progress has not gone unnoticed after a challenging but promising first season in Glasgow.

celtic have a star in the making expecting big things from this lad the comming season.
