Celtic academy winger Zion Pullan has received his first international call-up for Spain at Under-15 level after a stunning season in the club’s youth setup.
The youngster has been one of the standout attacking players across Celtic’s academy age groups this year, featuring for both the U15 and U17 sides despite still being only 15.
His numbers are eye-catching. Pullan has scored 58 goals and provided 35 assists this season, taking his total goal contributions to 93 across all competitions.
That form has now been rewarded with a first call-up from Spain.
It is another sign of how highly he is rated behind the scenes. Pullan has already represented Scotland at U15 level, but Spain have now moved to bring him into their own youth setup.

For Celtic, it is another example of the academy producing attacking players with real potential. Pullan has built a reputation this season for direct running, quick feet, and calm finishing in front of goal.
The fact he has been trusted to step up into the U17 group at points this year also says plenty about where he is currently viewed in his development.
Pullan’s rise also reflects something Celtic have been trying to build again through the academy setup. Producing players with this level of ability at youth level shows the system is working to a point.
The bigger issue has been what comes next.
Over the last few years, Celtic have had talented academy players stand out in youth football without properly breaking through into the first team. That pathway has often disappeared at the final hurdle.
That is why cases like Pullan will always draw attention early. Supporters want to believe there is a route from Lennoxtown into the senior side again.
Spain’s call-up only adds to that feeling. When another major football nation starts paying attention to a Celtic academy player, it becomes harder to ignore the level he is showing.
There is still a long way to go, but this season has put Pullan firmly on the radar.
