Five of Celtic’s up-and-coming fixtures in the next few months have been given a new date due to the Hoops involvement in the Europa League this season.

Last week, Ange Postecoglou’s side secured their place in the competition with a 3-2 aggregate win over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

In what will be a tough group ahead, the Hoops were drawn up against Bayern Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros.

With that, many fans knew what was coming with these fixtures changes that have seen Celtic play regularly on Thursday and Sunday in the last couple of years.

As reported by the Glasgow Times, this afternoon, it was announced which of these fixtures were rescheduled and given new dates as to when they will be played.

Sunday, September 19
Livingston v Celtic, kick-off 3.00 pm.

Sunday, October 3
Aberdeen v Celtic, live on Sky Sports, kick-off 12 noon.

Sunday, November 7
Dundee v Celtic, kick-off 3.00 pm.

Sunday, November 28
Celtic v Aberdeen, kick-off 3.00 pm.

Sunday, December 12
Celtic v Motherwell, kick-off 3.00 pm.

Coming off the back of these tough European fixtures, we know how tough it can be going to places such as Livingston or Aberdeen and having to get these results.

However, to win leagues, it’s what has to be done, and Ange Postecoglou will know that every game in this league is absolutely crucial.
