It’s been a while since we heard his name but, out of the blue, former Ronny Deila signing, Colin Kazim-Richards has reappeared down south and has signed on a free for Derby County.

The player only spent six months at the club and has a winners medal for his troubles but he never really got going. To be honest, he’s not properly got going anywhere.

The striker is now 34 and many are praising his agent at this point rather than the player for getting him a decent move.

The striker has scored 58 goals in 338 career appearances and will not be considered a successful signing by anyone at Celtic.

It was at a time when the board looked less and less likely to back Deila and brought in inexpensive signings to do a job.

We wish Colin all the best at Derby, maybe he’ll prove everyone wrong.
