CELTIC flop Nadir Ciftci could be on his way back to Scotland after Motherwell and Dundee Utd have both shown interest in taking over the player’s loan deal from Plymouth Argyle.

The English side has been desperate to get rid of Nadir after a terrible first half of the season where the striker has failed to net any goals in the eight appearances he has got.

Motherwell, who have just been given a cash windfall by selling star striker Louis Moult are looking to replace the player short-term and believe Nadir could be their man.

Before moving to Celtic, Ciftci was a great asset for Dundee Utd who have also shown an interest in taking him back – United fans especially desperate to see his return to help them push for promotion.

The player needs to kick-start his career and may find that opportunity back in Scotland.

We believe this deal has been cancelled to facilitate the move between clubs.
