Celtic are facing a hard sell for their upcoming Europa League clash with Sturm Graz, and the empty seats against Braga could now be replicated on matchday three.

After a disappointing turnout for the Portuguese side’s visit, Celtic have now opened a general sale for the Austrian tie, with plenty of tickets still available. Prices start at £45, with no concessions available for students or children.

The decision has gone down poorly among supporters who feel increasingly disconnected from the club’s leadership. It looks like their Monday general sale announcement has done little to shift tickets.

Many are frustrated by what they see as a lack of accountability for poor recruitment, failed transfer windows, and dwindling ambition.

Despite a late and dramatic win over Motherwell at the weekend, the mood around Celtic Park remains flat.

Banners, protests, and growing online criticism have become a weekly theme as fans continue to demand meaningful change at board level.

Celtic Park Apathy

European nights at Celtic Park once carried magic and anticipation. Now, they feel like an afterthought. The current pricing and lack of effort to build a competitive squad have only deepened the sense that the club’s priorities are misplaced.

Supporters are being asked to pay premium prices for a competition the club itself appears to treat as secondary.

With the squad looking short on quality and belief, it is no surprise that fans are reluctant to spend £45 on another uninspired European night.

The message from many is simple. If the board will not invest in Celtic’s potential, supporters will not continue to invest their time and money.

The game kicks off at 8pm on October 23rd.

  1. Make no mistake. The Board has messed up with the transfer situation.

However, Brendan Rodgers has also made huge mistakes in playing his political games and disrespecting players, such as the two new Japanese lads and importantly, failing to recognize the potential in Oh, who is now worth upwards of 30 million.

Rodgers failed to get us through when he should have. He must not be allowed to deflrct blame when it should sit squarely on his shoulders

  2. If we keep allowing the Board to treat us with disdain and a lack of respect then we deserve what we get. The arrogance and sense of entitlement is astounding from Nicholson et al.

What is needed is a total boycott of official merchandise and from the Celtic stores. Adidas will not be happy with that and may be forced to put some pressure on the Board. Tough love is needed from us for the club.

  3. Nothing will change when fans keep buying season tickets every season and merchandise food drinks etc so what is the use of complaing just going round in circles. What happened to the new hotel etc again all bullshit from lawell ” and the poor state of the main stand all this rubbish we cant afford it all bullshit costs can be spread over many years its all total bullshit from the board taking the fans as fools just give us your money and shut up.
