We have a new Celtic way, a new manager and soon we will have a brand new pitch for the new season.
The playing surface at Celtic Park will be re-laid after the Commonwealth Games – with grass grown near the Dutch/German border.
The current Parkhead pitch has been removed for the games with Celtic selling off parts of the turf to fans as a keepsake.
The new surface, similar to those used in the Amsterdam Arena and the Santiago Bernabéu , has been described as “quick” and able to “repair itself”.
A surface that will surely compliment Ronny Deila’s attacking style. The new pitch will be laid in time for Celtic’s first home game of the season against Dundee Utd.
