Celtic are gaining more traction in Japan with Kyogo Furuhashi leading the Hoops revival in Glasgow.

The club recognised the market is there for them after signing Kyogo from Vissel Kobe in the summer. The man from Japan has been a revelation since coming in and got on the scoresheet again against Hibernian as the Hoops ran out 3-1 winners.

Celtic have fans in every corner of the world – but their stature is again growing in Japan.

If you don’t believe us, this was a Tokyo Train station this morning.

Taken by a Celtic fan in the City.

I don’t think Mikey Johnston would’ve thought he would be plastered over Train Stations in Tokyo playing for Celtic, but he makes the cut alongside loan bhoy Jota.

Japan is a huge market, and the club should certainly pursue new sources of revenue.

The official Japanese Celtic feed should be the platform to help sell to an audience who are watching Kyogo thrive.
