Celtic goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi is set to make a loan exit on Deadline Day.
The English youth cap is set to join Leyton Orient on loan, who sit 18th in League 1, RecordSport reports.
The 22-year-old has yet to make a senior appearance for Celtic but has been involved in several matchday squads, particularly in European competition, where larger rosters allow for greater inclusion.
Oluwayemi previously spent a brief emergency loan spell at Kilmarnock earlier this season, though that stint was cut short when Killie signed Kelle Roos to address their long-term goalkeeping needs.
With game time limited at Celtic and only B team appearances under his belt, the move to Brisbane Road represents a chance for Oluwayemi to test himself at the League One level.
The loan deal provides both Celtic and Oluwayemi the opportunity to assess his readiness for top-flight football.
Celtic have at least three goalkeepers ahead of him in the pecking order, and they also have Josh Clarke out on loan at Partick Thistle with Mark Wilson. Although the Jags could look at a deal that keeps him at Firhill beyond this season.
He’s not the only one that the former Celtic defender currently has on loan and wants to keep. Ben McPherson is impressing at right-back and is attracting interest from elsewhere, too.
