They call it the romance of the cup.

Celtic will step onto the field against Alloa on Saturday evening with their fans right behind them as usual. But as stadiums go, we’re heading back in time to a bygone era of the game.

Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor has been on a reconnaissance mission ahead of the Scottish Cup tie against the Lowe league side and has delivered some handy tips to those who will be attending.

Celtic have won the Scottish Cup four out of the last five seasons but fell woefully short last term during pandemic, closed door football.

The League Cup is already resting back at Paradise as Ange Postecoglou looks to bring the silverware back to where it belongs.

The Scottish Cup Final is always a showcase event at the end of the season, we want to be there!

It all starts at Alloa, and we must give them respect.

  1. Bring yer grannies kitchen steps or a stout box (her mongrel or two drink cans may just do) to stand on and look over the wa’s, and free to view. Who needs hesgoals.

    Bring yersel a good bunnet and gloves though .
