In February, Celtic will face off against Norwegian Champions Bodo/Glimt in the first edition of the Europa Conference League knock-out stages.
Many fans knew that the up-and-coming side would pose a threat. However, at the same time, with the growing positivity coming from Ange Postecoglou’s team, that we would take some confidence into the ties.
The Hoops may have just been handed a boost, with the exit of one of Bodo/Glimts best assets in midfielder Patrick Berg.
The 24-year old has been touted with moves across Europe after his impressive showings for his former side, with some fans even calling for Celtic to make their move.
This evening, though, it was announced that Berg has now completed a move to French side Lens.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to many either if this wasn’t the last exit we see from the Norweigan side between now and February during the league’s shutdown after the campaign finished last week.
It will undoubtedly be interesting to keep a close eye on the comings and goings from Bodo/Glimt as the months go on, which could provide the Hoops with further boosts ahead of the clash between the two teams.
