Celtic have drawn fc Malmo in the Champions League play-off round.
Out of all the teams available to us there was a general consensus that Malmo would be the team we would most like to avoid at this stage but of course we’ve got them.
We are told Malmö FF will be without striker Markus Rosenberg and midfielder Enock Adu in Glasgow through suspensions. Although there may be a starting place for a one Malmo player and a familiar face in Joe Inge Berget who played for Celtic in the first half of last season before heading back to his parent club in January. They Norwegian coach as well; Åge Hareide. National team coach 03-08, he has won the league with Rosenborg & Malmø.
If Celtic do get past Malmo they will enter the Champions League group stages for the first time under Ronny Deila. If they don’t they will drop into the Europa League .
Malmo are currently 6th place in the Swedish League – 7 points off the pace.
The first leg will be played in at Home.
