CELTIC have been presented a massive opportunity to heap more misery on their rivals in the coming weeks if they can continue their good form into December.

Both Glasgow club’s have semi-final ties at Hampden after the international break and both could book themselves into a Glasgow Derby final.

Over and above that, Celtic have a hectic schedule in the league and Europe before the we ring in the bells in just over six weeks time.

The hasty exit of their boss Steven Gerrard, weeks after he said he wasn’t going anywhere has locked the club and its support.

We all know what that’s like! I maintain it’s worse for Celtic fans because Brendan Rodgers was a serial winner who claimed to be a boyhood fan, Gerrard can lay claim to neither during his time at Ibrox.

However, we saw a steady hand in Neil Lennon come in and land us the treble. There will be a siege mentality they could capitalise on, but Celtic should smell blood in the water and go in for the kill.

The more pressure we exert with any new manager or interim manager will help us push up the SPFL table to the summit.

If we allow them space to settle, it will only get harder to break them down.
