NEW Celtic signing Lewis Morgan started and finished the scoring for St Mirren last night as they edged towards the Championship title with a 5-0 win over Dumbarton.

The bhoy signed up with Celtic in January but was loaned back out to St Mirren for the remainder of the season.

St Mirren will be happy Celtic did after a dazzling display seen the attacking midfielder score two top goals.

With the player only costing Celtic around 300k, this looks like a top piece of business.

The second goal, in particular, was fantastic.

Lewis already stated he wants to help St Mirren wrap the league up so he can join up with Celtic as early as possible.

  1. As good as Kris Commons, maybe. As we’ll find oot. Be a big loss to St Mirren though. The sevconians will miss him much, much, feck much more. The sad, shi7ey, tramp, penny pinching paupers. Here’s hoping he can score against the Slim shadeys at their bin bag.

  2. How do we know this? He has never played a game in the top flight. One thing playing against Dumbarton, another even playing against the likes of Dundee. One way the boy will fail is to have ridiculous expectations of him. Funny how we laugh at the Sevcoites when they claim they have a wurld class player in Jason Cummings, who has played at a higher level than Morgan, yet we can come out with this nonsense. There is more chance of this lad being at Airdrie within 2 seasons than him making the grade at Celtic, if history is anything to go by. But it might be an idea to give him a chance first. Look at Christie, he has yet to be given a chance and signed having played at a higher level than Morgan. It would not surprise me if he left Celtic before ever being given a shot. Although I hope he is i the team as Rogic looks to be off.
