Like every international break, Celtic players continue to have a busy schedule with their nations as they head off for the next week.

This afternoon, Celtic produced a list of 12 stars who will be jetting off, with the likes of Josip Jurnovic, Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley, to name a few, heading to join up with their international teammates.

Some Celtic fans noticed a small detail from the graphic, and that was that attacking midfielder Tom Rogic was missing from the list of names.

The 28-year old was set to join up with the Australian national side, having become a regular once again, thanks to the brilliant form he has found under Ange Postecoglou this season.

However, as Celtic fans will be aware, the Aussie midfielder was forced off due to injury in the first half of Saturday’s 3-0 win over Ross County, which resulted in the Staggies going down to 10-men.

At first, Ange seemed quite optimistic about the injury, stating that Rogic would be joining up with his international side, once managed by the current Celtic boss.

But, potentially, with further work done to determine the extent of Rogic’s injury, the midfielder may have been told to remain behind.

Of course, we will need to wait and see to have that news officially confirmed. The main thing Celtic fans will be hoping for is that Rogic is back to full fitness in time for the return of League action and a trip to Ibrox at the beginning of April.
