CELTIC have released a job advert for a ‘Covid Vaccine Passport Checker’ with a start date of the 17th of January. This means the club is still assuming that fans will be back in a large capacity for the resumption of the season.

Nicola Sturgeon is to give a further update on the situation on Tuesday, but with the club pushing forward with their preparations, fans can grow confident that a positive decision will be made in regards to fans in the coming days.

The advert comes after the JRG informed clubs to prepare for full capacity, however, this was still to receive the green light from the Scottish Government over the weekend. With the risk significantly lower with the Omicron variant, the league officials have presented their case to the Government proving that football grounds are COVID safe.

After a full season locked out, and part of the season before, fans were unhappy with the decision to effectively be locked out again.

  1. In the skewed vision of society’s eye it is abhorrent to die from the virus, but quite acceptable — even dare I suggest, honourable — to die from the vaccine.
