Sky Sports and Mail journalist Anthony Joseph has tonight confirmed Celtic are in advanced talks with West Ham over a season-long loan deal for Albian Ajeti. What’s more, is the clubs look set to come to an agreement on a future fee.
Celtic are now in advanced talks with West Ham forward Albian Ajeti over a season-long loan.
The Hoops hope to secure the deal with an option to buy, for a fee of around £5m.
Not done yet, but progressing well.
EPL and European clubs also monitoring his situation.

Ajeti was signed from Basel by West Ham last summer and has failed to hit the net for the Hammers in 12 appearances. However, his scoring for Basel where he played alongside Moi Elyounoussi can be described as prolific; 43 goals and 21 assists for Basel in 96 games tells its own story.
The striker, funnily enough, finds himself in the same situation Moi has at. Southampton. Brought in for a bit of money but disregarded very quickly. West Ham paid a little over £7m for the forward last summer. [TransferMarkt]
Ajeti turned 23 in February and fits well into Celtic’s comfort zone when it comes to buying young players and selling them on for profit later down the line.
If the bhoys do get this over the line, at least one striker is heading out of Celtic Park in some capacity. Vakoun Bayo seems like the obvious option.
Must be bad , if Leigh is ripping the nitting from Lennon, and they are pushing him out the door, so they try for another striker on loan who has to come in before Leigh once more.
