CELTIC could have Mikael Lustig back fit for Kilmarnocks visit on Saturday after the Swede took part in full training at Lennonxtown this morning.

The defender missed Celtic’s midweek draw against Motherwell with a minor injury but showed no ill-effects today in training ahead of a big match against Kilmarnock.

Cristian Gamboa deputised in Mikael’s absence on Wednesday night but it looks like Celtic will be playing a more recognised side which includes the Swedish international come 3pm on Saturday.

Gamboa has only ever got a game if Lustig has been unavailable and it’s been clear for quite some time the manager doesn’t fancy the player.

The Costa Rican is expected to leave the club this summer, however, his move could be expedited if Celtic can find a new right back in January to challenge Lustig for the position.

Anthony Ralston has seen no game time this season and it looks like the manager wants to put his trust in the scouting system in order to find a suitable star.
