Celtic will be without both Kouassi Eboue and Daniel Arzani for the rest of the season with Brendan Rodgers confirming both players have injured their cruciate ligaments.

The unlucky pair who looked like they were about to make strides into getting more first team game time will now have to watch the bhoys from afar.

Kouassi was finally getting game time with Scott Brown out and after a three month wait, Arzani was given his chance in the match against Dundee midweek.

It is very bad luck for the young Australian to go down with such a horrific injury just 22 minutes into his debut.

Arzani is likely to return to Man City for treatment while Kouassi joins the long list of players on the treatment table at Celtic Park.

Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths, Jozo Simunovic, Olivier Ntcham are four notable players still out for now.

Luckily the bhoys haven’t really skipped a beat with a bad injury list.

The whole squad has had to pitch in to make sure the bhoys keep their momentum going.
