NEIL LENNON gave the BBC team an update on the status of Boli Bolingoli after the defender limped off during Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Rennes on Thursday night.

The Belgian left-back looked in pain and was on the ground struggling in the second half. Jonny Hayes came on in his place and did a great job.

Boli has been Neil Lennon’s preferred left-back to this point with new signing Greg Taylor still getting up to speed but now the Celtic manager might have no choice but to throw him in against his old club on Sunday. We have seen our fair share of debuts this season so far and Greg looks like the next one.

Speaking about Boli’s injury Neil Lennon told the BBC : Bolingoli is a “doubt for the next few games” after going off with an adductor strain.

“We didn’t want to take too many chances with him,” he said. “I don’t think it’s too serious but it’s not like him to come off”

During the transfer window, Neil Lennon made it a priority to make sure his team could cope with injuries like Boli’s and really strengthened his options in defence.

This looks like a well executed plan and Celtic fans could be in line to see Greg Taylor make his debut on Sunday. It just had to be against Kilmarnock!

Elyounoussi could also make his Parkhead bow.
