CELTIC will have to wait to find out whether Greg Taylor will be available to travel for their Europa League opener in Spain after a reoccurrence of a shoulder injury during the victory against Ross County.

Taylor injured his shoulder against Alkmaar in the playoff round of the Europa League and still appears to be in discomfort with it. Adam Montogomery replaced the left back just after the break and did very well.

One man who will be back for the Real Betis tie is Anthony Ralston – the player picked up a knock which meant he didn’t make the matchday squad for the SPFL tie on Saturday afternoon.

Celtic won 3-0 but lacked a cutting edge in the first half against the Highland side.

The Hoops have lost three strikers in the last two weeks; Kyogo to injury and Edouard and Griffiths to transfers. Giakamakous has come in as a striker but the Greek star is not currently up to speed and didn’t even make the bench against County.

Celtic are still not at full strength but did manage a 3-0 win in the end. Real Betis is going to be a proper test for this team.
