REPORTS in Germany suggest that Celtic are interested in veteran RB Leipzig defender Marvin Compper.
The 32-year-old who has been capped only once for his country almost ten years ago is playing a bit part role at the club and Leipzig could be persuaded into letting him go in January.
Celtic are hunting far and wide for denfenders and it would be no surprise to anyone if Brendan Rodgers was looking for a calm older head in his centre-back pairing.
The former Monchengladbach man would most likely jump at the chance to come to Glasgow in January if Celtic firm up their interest.
Celtic have a broad pool of players they’re currently scouting for the centre back position and will look to pull the trigger early January to add some balance to the side.
The club has also been linked with going back in for Filip Benkovic at Zagreb.
He would be a good signing, certainly better than what we have, Boyata is poor and he is the best we have, Ajar should be getting more game time
Think he a bit old 32 years of age think BR will look at ex players who he knows from ex clubs
Total nonsense
One things for certain,If we dont get some extra talent in.Its bye bye Europa
Get another young player like Ajer and play them together that would sort out the slack defence. Ajer plays well out of defence and should be getting a run in the team.
